Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to common questions about Quranest World Institute online Quran classes — for parents, children, and adult learners.
About Our Classes
Yes. Quranest World Institute provides personalized one-to-one online Quran classes. Every lesson is private, so your child or you receive the teacher's full attention throughout the session.
Yes. Our Quran education programs are available for both children and adults. We teach young learners, teenagers, and adult beginners — each at their own pace.
We offer Noorani Qaida, Quran Reading (Nazra), Quran With Tajweed, Hifz-ul-Quran, Quran Translation, Quran Tafseer, Islamic Studies, Arabic Language, and Seerah of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
Classes are conducted online through video calling tools like Zoom, Google Meet, or WhatsApp video — whichever your family finds easiest. You only need a stable internet connection and a device.
All classes are live and interactive. You speak directly with your teacher in real time. Classes are not recorded by default, but you can request recording for personal revision.
All our classes are one-to-one. You will never share your class with another student. This ensures maximum attention and faster progress.
Yes, subject to teacher availability. Some families prefer 2 short classes per day for intensive learning. Contact us to discuss your schedule.
Age & Readiness
Most Islamic educators suggest beginning formal Quran lessons between ages 4 and 6. At this stage, children can sit for short lessons, recognise sounds, and enjoy listening. However, readiness matters more than age — some children are ready at 4, others at 6 or 7.
Look for these signs: they can focus for 10–15 minutes, they repeat sounds after you, they show curiosity when they hear the Quran, and they can follow simple instructions. If most of these are true, your child is likely ready to begin.
Formal classes are usually not recommended before age 3–4. At that age, children learn best through listening and play. You can build a foundation at home by reciting aloud, saying short duas together, and playing gentle Quran recitation in the background.
Absolutely. Many of our students are adults who are starting from the basics or improving their recitation. It is never too late. Adult learners are taught privately and at a pace that suits them, without any embarrassment.
Yes. Noorani Qaida is designed for complete beginners of any age. Our teachers are patient and experienced with adult learners who are starting from the very beginning. You will learn letters, sounds, and joining rules step by step.
No. It is never too late. We have taught students in their 50s, 60s, and even 70s who learned to recite beautifully. The best time to start is today.
Yes. Most of our students don't speak Arabic at home. Reading the Quran requires knowing the Arabic letters and their sounds — not speaking Arabic. Our teachers explain everything in English or Urdu.
Yes. Learning the Quran is equally important for boys and girls. Readiness and interest matter more than gender.
Our Teachers
Yes. Female teachers are available for sisters and children, subject to availability. Please mention your preference when registering, and we will do our best to match you with a suitable female teacher.
Yes. Many parents prefer a female teacher for their daughters, and we respect that. Female teachers are available for girls and young children — just let us know your preference when you register.
Our teachers are selected for their knowledge of Quran reading, Tajweed, and the subjects they teach. They are experienced with children and adults, fluent in English and Urdu, and trained to teach online.
Many of our teachers are Hafiz or Hafiza and have memorized the entire Quran. For Hifz students, we match you with a teacher who specializes in memorization. Contact us to discuss your needs.
Yes. Consistency is important for progress. Once you are matched with a teacher, you will keep that teacher for your regular classes. If you ever want to switch, just let us know.
We can switch teachers to find the right fit for your child. Just let us know, and we will arrange a different teacher for the next class.
Our teachers are fluent in English and Urdu, and many also speak Arabic. Let us know your preferred language when registering.
Yes. All our teachers can communicate in English. This makes it easy for students in the USA, UK, Canada, Europe, and Australia to learn without language barriers.
Schedule & Timing
Yes. We offer flexible scheduling according to student availability and teacher availability. Classes can be arranged in the morning, afternoon, evening, or on weekends — including after school or after Fajr.
For children, 2–3 classes per week work well. Frequency matters more than length — two 30-minute classes per week are more effective than one long session. Older students preparing for Hifz may choose 4–5 classes per week.
Each class is 30 minutes long. This is long enough to make real progress, and short enough to keep children focused. The exact length can be adjusted based on the student's age and attention span.
Please inform us in advance (at least a few hours before the class). With sufficient notice, we will arrange a make-up class, subject to teacher availability.
Yes. If you have paid one month's fee in advance and give prior notice to hold that month, the paid fee will be carried over to the next month. For longer breaks, please contact us to discuss.
Yes. Saturday and Sunday classes are available. Many families prefer weekend classes due to school and work commitments during the week.
Yes. Early morning slots (before school or work) are available on request. Many families find the after-Fajr time ideal for Quran learning.
Yes. Schedules can be adjusted with prior notice, subject to teacher availability. Just let us know your preferred new time.
Eid-ul-Fitr and Eid-ul-Adha are considered public holidays. There are no classes, make-up classes, refunds, or discounts offered for these holidays.
Trial & Registration
Yes. We offer a free trial class with no obligation. In the trial, your teacher will assess the student's level, teach a short sample lesson, and suggest a learning plan. You can then decide whether to continue.
You can register in two ways: fill out our online registration form, or message us directly on WhatsApp. Once we receive your details, we will contact you to arrange your free trial class.
Most students see noticeable improvement within a few weeks of regular classes. Progress depends on the student's starting level, frequency of classes, and practice between sessions. Consistent attendance matters most.
With 2–3 classes per week, most children complete Noorani Qaida in 3–6 months. Adults often progress faster. Progress depends on regular practice and the student's pace.
Full Hifz typically takes 2–5 years depending on the student's pace, number of classes per week, and consistency of revision. A partial Hifz (selected Surahs) can be completed much faster. Your teacher will set realistic milestones based on your goals.
Yes. If you or your child would like to switch courses (for example, from Noorani Qaida to Tajweed), just discuss it with your teacher or contact us. We will adjust your learning plan.
In the free trial class, your teacher will assess your child's level and recommend the most suitable course. If you want to try a different course afterwards, we can adjust.
Safety & Parental Involvement
Yes. All classes are one-to-one and private. For younger children, we recommend a parent sit nearby during the first few weeks. You are also welcome to observe any class at any time.
For children under 6, we recommend a parent stays nearby — especially in the first few weeks. This helps the child feel secure and stay focused. Older children can usually manage on their own.
Yes, absolutely. You are welcome to sit nearby or observe any session. We believe parents should be involved in their child's Quran learning journey.
Yes. We provide monthly progress reports so parents stay informed about their child's level, recent progress, and next learning goals.
You can request the teacher's gender when registering. Female teachers are available for girls and sisters, and male teachers for boys and brothers. Availability may vary — contact us to discuss.

Technical Requirements
You only need: a stable internet connection, a computer/laptop/tablet/smartphone, a quiet well-lit space, and ideally a headset or earphones. No special software is required.
We use standard video calling tools like Zoom, Google Meet, or WhatsApp video — whichever your family finds easiest. We can work with whatever platform you are comfortable with.
Please reconnect as soon as possible. If a technical issue cuts the class short, we will make up the missed time in a future session.
Both work fine. A laptop or tablet gives a larger screen, which is helpful for reading Arabic text. A smartphone works well too, especially for older children and adults.
A headset or earphones with a microphone are recommended. They reduce background noise and help the teacher hear the student's recitation clearly.
Course-Specific Questions
Noorani Qaida is a foundational textbook for learning to read Arabic and the Quran. It teaches the Arabic alphabet, short vowels, joining rules, and reading basics. It is the ideal starting point for complete beginners.
Tajweed is the study and practice of reciting the Quran with correct pronunciation, articulation, and rhythm. It ensures every letter is given its due right — nothing added, nothing removed.
Nazra is reading the Quran fluently with correct pronunciation. Hifz is memorizing the Quran. Nazra comes first — a student learns to read before memorizing.
Yes. Many students complete Hifz online successfully. It requires discipline, regular classes, and daily revision. Our teachers specialize in structured Hifz plans with daily targets.
Translation communicates the general meaning of Quranic Arabic in another language. Tafseer explains meaning in greater depth, including context and scholarly interpretation. They complement each other.
Yes. Our Islamic Studies course covers beliefs (Aqeedah), worship, Seerah, Hadith, Islamic manners, and daily duas — all taught in an age-appropriate way for children, teenagers, and adults.
Yes. Our Arabic Language course covers reading, vocabulary, grammar, and conversation — with an optional focus on Quranic Arabic for those who want to understand the Quran better.
Yes. Our Seerah course covers the life, character, and lessons of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ from early life to Madinah, using reliable sources.
